Jonathan Lloyd, PT, DPT (Kilmarnock)

Jonathan will be returning to his roots and joining Belfield Physical Therapy in March 2018. Prior to earning his Doctorate degree in physical therapy from Radford University, Jonathan discovered his passion for working one-on-one with clients during his time as a professional ski and snowboard instructor. Throughout his formal education and clinical experiences, Jonathan has maintained his belief in the importance of a one-on-one, patient-centered environment. He believes that in order to provide a comprehensive rehabilitative service, it’s not enough to just simply treat an injured joint or extremity; he believes that it is essential to consider every aspect of a patient’s day to day life in order to create a plan of care that will be most beneficial to that individual patient. Due to Jonathan’s background in recreational sports and his clinical experiences with neurological dysfunction, he has a special interest in balance/gait training, sports rehabilitation, as well as upper and lower extremity orthopedic injuries. In the future Jonathan hopes to become involved with local organized sports, businesses, and community outreach programs, by providing injury risk assessments, preventative exercise programs, ergonomic work place assessments, and fall risk education.
